make my own hot sauce? Searching for something that carried a flavor as well as heat? The one I settled on is here: http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=236x65342 and I've found the ultimate use for it.

Vodka martini of sorts.

Into an Old fashioned glass add:
Heavy splash of white wine, maybe heavy half jigger -Chablis or Chardonnay, trust me it won't make much difference.
Two fingers of Vodka
Splash of home made hot sauce, tsp or so to taste as you like.
Fill with ice and stir to melt ice.

This is definitely a sippin' drink. The clash of capsasin heat with the ultra cold Vodka mixed with the scent of peppers is really quite nice.

Gotta' go make batch number two of the hot sauce now . . .
