Heirloom Varieties I Have Loved This Summer
Edited on Wed Aug-12-09 11:46 AM by NashVegas
In order of Wow!

1. Black Plum - fantastic for sauces.

2. Tennessee Yellow Cherry

3. Red Zebra

And another little red whose name I never got :(

The big thing I've noticed is the proliferation of eastern Euro varieties, and they're wonderful.

et tu?

1. Yellow cherries have been a favorite of mine this year too. Good raw or cooked.
My Cherokee Purple plant has been a little fussy about water and hasn't been a huge producer, but the tomatoes I have gotten from it have been wonderful.

(Borrowed image, but a good representation of the color... AND the cracking that I've been seeing too!)
