Frozen vegetable ravioli, boxed tomato/red pepper soup, gorgonzola cheese,

butter and a touch of maple syrup.

I cooked the ravioli, then made a sauce from the rest.

Y'know...my "clearing out the fridge" dinner was actually pretty good last night. I'm moving this week, so I have precious little "real food" in my old house.

What's your favorite back-of-the-fridge creation?

1. when you find 3 different open salsa

it's time to make black bean soup. I use the refried black beans, some vegetable broth and whatever salsa is on hand. Bake up some corn bread in the spider.......

2. I once cleaned out the freezer and found a package

of Smart Foods "Steak Style" strips of undetermined age.

It turned into the best damned Stroganoff I've ever eaten.

I wish they still made the stuff.
