Maybe a silly question, but...
I just upgraded from an Ibook to a MacBook. On my old computer, I could hit a button (I think it was F10 or F11) and all my open windows would move to the sides, so I could access my desktop. I haven't been able to figure out how to do this on my MacBook. I miss this function. Is there a way to do this?

Thanks in advance.

1. That's Exposé
Bring up System Preferences, select 'Exposé and Spaces', select the Exposé tab, and you'll see (and can change) the key assignments.

2. Perfect! Thank you so much.. It was set on keys that control volume.
I changed it to "empty" keys and it works like a charm!

3. You can also set up your trackpad to do that
I use a 4 finger "swipe" to show all open windows. If I swipe in the opposite direction, it pushes them all off of the desktop. I love it!

5. How did you specify Expose to respond to a four finger swipe?
On a black 2G macbook running OS 10.5.6
