Anybody try to update their iphone yet?
They said the update to 2.0 would come out today. But when I plug my phone into my computer and tell it to update, it says my current version (1.1.4) is the correct one and I should check again on July 15.

Looks like they are having some problems with the new iphones. Is that affecting the software update?

1. They've been having some serious server problems. It may be best to wait
until at least tomorrow. Europe is SOLD OUT of phones, and the demand in Japan is much bigger than expected, as well as the US. So that put an unexpected strain on the servers.

2. Hmmm. They seem to underestimate the demand for iPhones. On the
initial launch, there were problems getting activations and 3 AT&T stores here didn't have them in stock.

3. Thanks!
I wonder if that's why my voice mail isn't working well today.

5. I installed it on my original iPhone with no problems.
It took several minutes, but it worked fine. The only thing is when I connect it to my Mac, it takes about 20 seconds or so to appear in iTunes.

8. I'm gonna hold off for a few days.

The Apple forums are sizzling with complaints. I think I'll wait. :D

10. Battery usage with 2.0
Has anyone noticed their battery drains faster with the update? I'm noticing a significant decrease in battery life since I updated. I use my iPhone a lot and am fairly sensitive to battery levels, and this represents a marked change that correlates with the update.

I'm using one of the original 8GB iPhones.
