Apple releases Mac OS X 10.4.7

Apple has released Mac OS X 10.4.7, addressing numerous security issues in the operating system designed for its hardware. The update affects Mac OS X 10.4 through 10.4.6, as well as Mac OS X Server 10.4 through 10.4.6. Mac OS X 10.4.7 includes fixes to AFP, CLamAV, ImageIO, launchd, and OpenLDAP. The update is available on Apple's support downloads Web page, as well as via Mac OS X's built-in software update feature.

I did repair permissions both before and after.

I've never had a problematic update with OSX, but better safe than hosed.

4. Please tell me this will stop Mail from crashing!
For some reason, Mail has been crashing on me quite a bit lately. I have no idea why.
