FYI - old iBook Memory.
I have an old Tangerine Rev A iBook. (Yes, a dinosaur, but I use it all the time in wireless cafes and things...)

I saw some PC-100 memory for sale cheap, and bought it hoping it would work in the PC-66 memory slot on the iBook. In theory it ought to work fine, but there are always issues as to how long the data will be held valid on the buss with faster memories.

It did work.

So if you have one of these, and see a bargain, you ought to risk it.

This was $17 for 128 MB, so now I have 160 MB in it rather than 96, and can think about things like using the ramdisk as so forth.
