Need help
with .Mac email. Until Wednesday I could enter my email, click on an email received,- would not open until I double clicked. Yesterday and today I click on an email, it opens instantly and quicly opens to the next email. I liked .Mac mail because I could decide if I wanted to open it or not. I can no longer do this, it opens automatically. I did perform software update, seems like this happened after I did this. I did shut down the computer after I performed the software update. What is going on? I can't even decide if I want to put this in junk anymore. Each email is highlighted instantly and opens. There is some emails I just don't want to open, how can I prevent this? What changed?

1. Check your Mail preferences
open Mail > preferences >general > set Òcheck mail manuallyÓ, See if that does it for you

6. Called Apple
reeceived my answer - thought you would like to know their response for further help.

All I had to do was click on the bar in the middle of my email. This took care of the problem.

Thanks for your help. I am so happy to have the choice to open my mail now. It really bothered me.
