Bring This To Thanksgiving; EZ & Everyone Loves It!
Just make sure you use really good olive oil in this -- the expensive stuff, then you can't go wrong!

Roasted Garlic Fettucine

Bake six whole heads of garlic (each wrapped in foil) in a 350 degree oven for 45 minutes, then take them out and let them cool.

When cool squeeze out the roasted garlic cloves into a food processor or blender. Blend with 8 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil and salt to taste and a dash of chili powder. Toss with cooked fettucine.

Hot or room temperature this rocks; I like to put some fresh parmesan cheese on it but it's good without for vegans.

If you really want to knock them out, bring steamed artichokes too! Turkey? WHAT turkey?

7. Great! One Note....
It's nice to put like a teaspoon of paprika in it, less for flavor than to cure it of it's roasted garlic color, which seems a big grayish, in all its deliciousness. A little paprika makes it nice and rosy, for those who don't want enough chili pepper/heat in it to do the job.

13. I finally got round to making this over the weekend
WOMAN! - that's really good. Mine came out looking kind of yellow, not grey, so I count that as a plus. Seemed a bit thick, kind of hard to toss, but sticks well to the fettuccine, so not a big deal.

:loveya:
