the seal hunt in Newfoundland.

Our local paper did a story on it, I was crying towards the end. Are there any organizations that you as a fellow DU'er would feel comfortable donating too?

1. Sea Shepherd Conservation Society

They are on the forefront of the seal slaughter. Capt. Paul Watson also wrote a book called "Seal Wars" which is a good read. I already donate to them, and will again in the future.

The International Fund for Animal Welfare (IFAW) is also very active with the seals, if you don't care for the tactics of SSCS.

Definitely Sea Shepherd ~ Capt. Paul Watson has devoted his life to ending this despicable slaughter. I have no doubt in my mind that he would give his life to spare the life of one of those precious creatures ~ and he has been quoted in articles saying as much.
