Vegetarian gelatin suggestion?
I love the little Horizon Organic vegetarian fruit snack packs (they come in strawberry and cherry, IIRC). When I went to my co-op last night, the checker said she thought they'd been discontinued.

Does anyone know of a tasty vegetarian Jell-O substitute?

Thanks! :hi:

I believe that there's a box mix, but I can't remember the brand.

2. Thanks - I admit I'm lazy & loved the convenience of the little cups
I have some great agar-based pudding mixes that I buy at a local Asian supermarket. I'll try to make my own fruit-flavored kind. :hi:

3. Cruise the Kosher section of your supermarket
There are Kosher gelatins available. Since they're marked "parve" I would guess they're agar based.

I don't know what they taste like. I just sort of gave up on gelatins.

4. Thanks for the tip
They have a different texture, but I like them. Funny because I never was a big fan of Jell-O, but I like the fake stuff. :D
