Good vegan gym type shoes
I buy all my stuff from mooshoes these days. Even though they take forever usually, they distribute some GREAT stuff.

My (hopefully LAST) pair of leather tennis shoes are about to wear out. I'd like to replace them with something low-keyish for wearing to the gym, etc. I usually wear canvas shoes for casual wear, but they're not quite comfortable enough (or durable enough) for they gym/running, etc.

Has anyone tried any of the vegan tennis-type shoes out there? Can you give a recommendation?

Thanks!!

david

1. From what I understand, New Balance makes totally vegan shoes.
I think mooshoes even features some of their lines.

Another website to check out is http://www.veganstore.com. They had some New Balance shoes on sale a month or so ago, so you may be able to find something there.

Not being a gym rat, I hope that's what you mean by gym shoes. :)

2. I like my new balance workout shoes
They've held up really well. They were also a replacement for a worn out leather pair. Some of the models are still made in the US, too. :)

5. Another vote for New Balance. I'm a gym rat, and my
cross-trainers have held up quite well (I also have New Balance running shoes, that have done nicely). As previously stated, some models are made in the US, and New Balance proudly makes that display in the packaging of those particular models.

I've also had a lot of luck with my Vans Geoff Rowley XLTs which I wear when I'm mountainbiking. The flat, gummy sole and ankle protection is perfect.
