1. Does bear season allow for taking infant/young bear?
No matter, as bear hunters are fu...nevermind.

Anyway.

If there's any other "symbolism" I do hope the Secret Service get involved. Otherwise, I'm sad an innocent animal was killed, and people need to realize that this is the sort of miscreant/racist/fundie nutjob we're dealing with.

Once the cubs are over 75 lbs. Not saying it's right (because it's a fucking evil policy).

We now have a bullshit excuse from the suspects.

9. And what's the point of bear hunting anyway?
Do people eat bear?

2. Here's an update. Seems that college kids found it in the woods already dead

3. Color me skeptical...
I heard this defense almost as soon as it came from the mouths of the suspected idiots.

Sense: This story makes none.

That's all I'm gonna say about this.

6. Wait...the bear cub was shot in the head.
So this means that some GLORIOUS hunter, about whom I read SO much about here on DU, shot a bear cub, in the head, killing it most likely instantly, and they left it behind in the woods? So there are "hunters" who do indeed kill simply for the pathetic joys and thrills of killing another being.

I'll remember that.

7. But I thought hunters were avid conservationists, who killed out of concern for overpopulation?

8. No, no, no. Hunters only kill for meat to feed their family.
Or to donate. Such the humanitarians, they. Some hunt for a trophy, but NONE I tells you, kills JUST for the joy of killing.
