2. Hmmmph.
Apparently these are not awards for "all around progressiveness" because the homophobic Ahnold certainly wouldn't deserve to be called progressive if that were the case.

3. The Red Robin was a pleasant surprise for me
after working a very long day & on one of my 25 nights away from home

I was famished & my hunger pains (and lack of food in my suitcase) drove me to the mall across the street from the hotel.

I wandered hopelessly into a very busy Mexican Restaurant and was disappointed ( I knew I would be) after talking with the very young and plump order taker. So, I popped over to TGI's thinking about a baked potato and salad. The smoky atmosphere and long wait (plus it was the weekend and very crowded with the steak and beer crowd) made me walk outside for a break after waiting for over 20 minutes (I was sure my order was lost)

I gave up but then.... spotted the Red Robin. In desperation I walked in and was surprised at the very clean atmosphere (smoke free). Besides being immaculate, there was NO crowd. The menu made me so happy with the Garden Burger and Boca Burger. I chose the version without the bread, and it came wrapped in a very crispy Iceberg lettuce leaf. It was a bit pricey but I was ever so happy and a satisfied traveler.
