“Hi everyone - Hopefully, this will be my last round of forwarding requests for help. It is imperative that you call your senators and ask them to cosponsor S1915. It is also imperative that you ask them to pressure Senator (Bill) Frist to place the bill on the floor before the Senate breaks. We only have about two weeks to do this. The bill passed overwhelmingly in the House. If the bill gets on the Senate floor, it will pass. Frist has indicated he will not release the bill until after the November election. If it takes that long, it properly will not be released and the whole ordeal starts all over. Last week 2,400 horses were slaughtered. Please make the calls and forward this e-mail to everyone you know.”
