2. that would depend entirely on the context and topic, I think....
For example, a discussion about the best way to get stains out of the drapes is a bit of a stretch. On the other hand, a discussion about cultural expectations, inequities, and gender roles in partnerships would almost certainly include women's rights-- as well as men's rights, responsibilities, gender roles, and so on. We're all in this mess together....

3. I think the post he's referring to
is along the lines of "maybe it's a good thing to do a lot of housework because it might keep people from getting so fat."

Of course, it's not necessarily interesting or important to determine exactly what topics count as "Women's Rights" topics, unless there is some special reason for trying to ensure that absolutely no topic outside the realm of Women's Rights could be discussed in the Women's Rights forum.
