"She got what she wanted..." says cop, who ejaculated on motorist
....or so this guy thought.

Illegally Park-ed An Irvine cop ejaculates on a motorist but escapes criminal liability
By R. SCOTT MOXLEY
Thursday, February 8, 2007 - 3:00 pm

Officer Park: put your hands behind my back No one disputes that an on-duty Irvine police officer got an erection and ejaculated on a motorist during an early-morning traffic stop in Laguna Beach. The female driver reported it, DNA testing confirmed it and officer David Alex Park finally admitted it.

When the case went to trial, however, defense attorney Al Stokke argued that Park wasn’t responsible for making sticky all over the woman’s sweater. He insisted that she made the married patrolman make the mess—after all, she was on her way home from work as a dancer at Captain Cream Cabaret.

“She got what she wanted,” said Stokke. “She’s an overtly sexual person.”

A jury of one woman and 11 men—many white and in their 50s or 60s—agreed with Stokke. On Feb. 2, after a half-day of deliberations, they found Park not guilty of three felony charges that he’d used his badge to win sexual favors during the December 2004 traffic stop.

9. Well as the defense attorney explained....
She aimed her slutty stripper mind control rays at him and rendered him incapable of functioning in his duty as a police officer. Amazingly, she was able to do this from a distance. She forced the poor man to disconnect his GPS and follow her out of his jurisdiction! Really, she's the one who should have been on trial, the hussy. :sarcasm:

10. Of course...
...and the jury merely rewarded him for so aptly avoiding the temptation for as long as he did. Poor fellow. :sarcasm::eyes:

7. Just when I start thinking...

6. I think i know one of the attorneys on the case...
Edited on Tue Mar-27-07 12:41 AM by Tom Joad
long ago, Jennifer Keller represented a group of antiwar protesters in Orange County, one of whom was yours truly (btw, she helped get us off the hook too). (wonder if she still does things like that?) She was one of those mentioned as being on the defense team.

This acquittal may not be one of her proudest moments. I can't judge her, a lawyer has to give best defense to people who we find contemptible too. I wonder though about the career line, from representing Catholic Worker (and others like me) doing a protest at a arms expo, to defending wealthy rapist cops.

It's the ex-cop that deserves the contempt.

14. I don't think the judge can do much about the verdict.
While a judge can set aside a guilty verdict, he can't just decide that the defendant is guilty and overturn a not guilty verdict.

12. WOW!
I am usually the first to bring up how quickly people like to demonize cops and find them guilty of wrongdoing before any facts come out.

But holy cow! This guy was just wrong. I can't beleave he "got off."
