1. Cool, but a bit shocking that GPS isn't mentioned in any of them.
All would be impossible without it.

3. No need for GPS if you can grid the design
What I'd like to know is how they managed to generate recognizable fonts.

I mean, really. I suppose doing it in daylight helps some, but still....
