1. Our orbit looks like a full-wave rectifier schematic?
Yow. That *is* complex.

4. Ooops, my bad. Please disregard the full wave bridge rectifier gif. It is only window
dressing. The amazing orbital display is in the youtube vid.

5. Just bear in mind that some aspects have been exaggerated
In particular, the initial animation vastly exaggerates the eccentricity of Earth's orbit and the rate at which its major axis moves. It comes a lot closer to retracing a circle than to inscribing the kind of spiral they show.

9. What truth do you have in mind?
That video doesn't help... the first warning not to take it seriously is the caption by whomever posted it:

Simon lays down the simple facts which obliterate several of the pillars of egghead mythematical psyence, which is owned by the energy barons, other insidious corporate war mongering sources and central banking parasites.

Quackademic theories sold in corporate controlled schools, are just mind control garbage which enslaves humanity to false ideas like explosion based technologies which burn the fuels they sell at top dollar.

It was immediately obvious from the discussion of the supposed inconsistency regarding the temperature of the solar surface and the temperature of the corona that the narrator lacks the background in physics to make a sensible critique. Clearly he has no grasp of thermodynamics.

8. The eccentricity of Earth's orbit is 0.017.
That's nearly a perfect circle. The variations in this are from 0.003 to 0.06 and even at the point of greatest eccentricity, it's still nearly a perfect circle.

The video exaggerates this variation to an irresponsible degree.
