7. Not to be a jerk, but are we sure that's real?
I could well be wrong, but I ask because of a couple things. First, the jaw position never seems to change. Second, there is just about no internal structure at all No spine, no ribs, no organs. Third, I've tried a few web searches, and either I find things that don't look at all like this, or I find exactly this, and only this (many links, all within the last few days.)

Makes me wonder if this isn't a viral ad for a CG process of some sort.

adjacent to the head. You can see the spine in the ribbon-like body. They eat tiny particulate matter, rather than normal zoo-plankton, and swim with the mouth open to capture their food.

Most eels have a leptocephalus as a larval form. It's real. This video offers a very, very rare opportunity to watch one alive. They're almost never seen.

It's especially common in larval forms.
