Mystery Roar from Faraway Space Detected
Edited on Thu Jan-08-09 06:17 PM by Richard D
The FSM had refried beans for lunch?

LONG BEACH, Calif. -- Space is typically thought of as a very quiet place. But one team of astronomers has found a strange cosmic noise that booms six times louder than expected. The roar is from the distant cosmos. Nobody knows what causes it.

But the newly detected signal, described here today at the 213th meeting of the American Astronomical Society, is far louder than astronomers expected.

There is "something new and interesting going on in the universe," said Alan Kogut of NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, Md.

8. Technically, since it originates from a distant point, then didn't it happen a long time ago and not
'something new' as Kogut put it?

9. My guess it is the center of what the galexies are orbiting
I think that we perceive the universe as expanding is correct but is misleading at the same time, we have protons and neutrons, planets and moons, solar systems, galaxies, all in orbits around each other why wouldn't it be the same way further out and even further who knows.

10. This is what I really think

While looking in, or looking out, the real mystery lies within the looker, it is the looker himself that is embodied within the range of his perceptions, and is where the answers arrive, in other words,

You're it! and that, is my Religion <*>
