Voyager 2 Crosses the Termination Shock

Voyager 2, the only spacecraft ever to have visited Uranus and Neptune, has reached a new landmark: between August 31 and September 1, 2007, it crossed and then left behind the termination shock at the edge of the solar system.

1. That was the most-fun thing I've read in quite awhile. I'm so glad your OP showed on the front page
I loved reading it. It's amazing what humanity can do besides kill itself and the planet.

7. Once Voyager 2 crosses the termination shock at the edge of the solar system...
... then what???

Will the space-time continuum reverse and begin to contract making the Voyager 2 travel twice as fast against the contraction and twice as slow with the contraction?
