Scientists gather to develop anti-HIV microbiocide

Thousands of delegates from around the world will gather in Cape Town from Sunday to collaborate in developing a revolutionary technology in the fight against HIV.

Microbicides 2006, the fourth international conference of its kind, will examine the product, which can take the form of a gel, cream, sponge or ring that releases an active ingredient that can kill or de-activate HIV cells during sexual intercourse.

The product, still in development, is believed to be crucial in combating infections for women.

Under the skin of that mentality you'll also find the one that says that gay people deserve this disease. It's also the same mentality that's against the HPV vaccine.
