1. Are you by chance, getting older. Just a friendly little tease.

5. I'm a septuagenarian (just checked to make sure I spelled it right)
Hard to believe, I know, but there it is. Won't go into any deep philosophical rhetoric about reaching olderhood, but I've long said the older we get the faster time seems to roll by 'cause we're on the downhill side of life.

Have finally reached the point where I don't have to go to work every day, but if the repubes have their way, that could change in a millisecond. Grateful I'm still standing! Well, grateful for a lot of things, actually!

Peace and blessings to all us eldsters.

7. I think I figgerd out.....
why time goes by faster as we get older. As we age, each year is a smaller and smaller fraction of our entire life span. At age 10, a year is 10% of our entire life. I'm 53, so a year is only 1.9% of my entire life, and so on. I remember as a kid, a year seemed to last forever.

6. Life is like a roll of toilet paper...
...the closer you get to the end, the faster it goes.

8. After retirement there seems to be only one day of the
week...garbage day.

9. LOL Hey, if I'd known how much I was going to like being retired....
.... I would have retired years earlier and lived in a shack.

And there are two days of the week: garbage day and guitar lesson day.
