As I remember, Republicans said that government investigating financial transactions
would catch terrorists, so everybody should be happy to turn over their records, because they've got nothing to hide, right?

So, I wonder ...

If someone were to look at financial transactions involving lots and lots of money in the next few months, how many Repukes would be caught depositing tons (literally, as well as figuratively) of money in "offshore accounts"???

1. You'll never see those records
Our justice system is lopsided. Selective enforcement has been a feature for a really long time. Honestly, if we didn't have an alternative media and whistleblowers, we'd have to wait 50 years to find out what's going on right now.

2. funny no one's hollering
for an investigation...a plane crashes, a tanker runs aground, a levee breaks...there's a demand for an investigation...yet with the current hullabaloo, all we hear is "now is not the time to fix blame'...probably cause Congress's approval rating is what...10%...you'd think someone, especially now, at election time, would say something, somewhere, to appeal to that 90% that is dissatisfied with Congress...and why don't we hear anything? Because the truth is whatever someone says it is. Ten trillion dollar debt. Throw another trillion on top of that. Yeah, right, and we're going to see all sorts of promises kept after the election.
