AA Pride
I would like to know what part of your culture you take the most pride in.

Being NA myself, there are many facets of my culture I take great pride in, but what about you? I posed this question (although not quite so eloquently) the the GLBT forum and got mixed results...

So I am asking you too. What part of your culture to you take the most pride in? I would like to take the results and post them in general discussion to further the appreciation around her for all of the hardships the AA community has faced.

thank you.

2. Do you think I just remove this?
The last thing I want is a repeat of my visit to the GLBT forum...

What do you think?

1) The strength of survival apparently inherent within the genealogy

2) The long ancestral history I can (at least in theory) claim

3) The apparent moral nature that keeps AAs from generally going 'crazy' behind the pressures of racism that run so rampantly throughout this environment

4) The ability to succeed in whatever arena we're given the opportunity to compete

I take pride in all that we've overcome. Lord knows we've still got A LOT to work on but we've come quite a ways considering where we started. :3

I'm also proud of our culture, the good parts of it, and our ancestry.
