Research links pesticides with ADHD in children

CHICAGO – A new analysis of U.S. health data links children's attention-deficit disorder with exposure to common pesticides used on fruits and vegetables.

While the study couldn't prove that pesticides used in agriculture contribute to childhood learning problems, experts said the research is persuasive.

"I would take it quite seriously," said Virginia Rauh of Columbia University, who has studied prenatal exposure to pesticides and wasn't involved in the new study.

More research will be needed to confirm the tie, she said.

We expose kids to chemicals that make them sick and then we give them amphetamines to drug them through school. Our society is seriously fucked up.

5. Someone suggested there is "no such thing"

As a former Elementary Teacher and Principal .....
If there is no such thing ~ than what I observed in hundreds of children needs to be called -- torture.

Torture for the lovely children that suffered and still struggle as adults.

Most~bright enough to know that even when medicated, they still are viewed by their classmates and friends as "silly" or "crazy."

Torture for their parents and other family members that cried in my office.

Torture for the teachers that wanted to do their best to teach the suffering child as well as their suffering classmates. The entire class struggled.

Torture for the doctors that tried everything they knew how to do for the families.

My heart begs for a cure.

designed to disrupt the nervous system of insects would also do the same in humans!
