maybe the thyroid issues that each of his parents has has affected him somewhat. Didn't look up whether it's hereditary or not. Hmmmm... Thyroid can throw off your hormones, which can effect your mental and emotional stability .....

13. This was up for discussion some time back here at DU

and I don't have a link, but basically there's nothing sinister about the perceived "hole". It's just an indentation in his throat and the resulting shadow. Not uncommon with older men and seen at certain angles. Spooky, but perfectly natural.

Some of our older (*and I mean age-wise, not posting-wise*) DUers will no doubt be chiming in and will be able to explain it in more detail than can I.

14. Using EFT on the wrong point!!

Someone told Bush he had to release his hatred of the American people, and he began using EFT. However not being the sharpest knife in the drawer, he tapped his throat chakra!!!

15. Read about the fifth (throat chakra)

Enough to make believers out of some of you. LOL, anyway because this is pretty telling--

The Throat Chakra is associated with the color sky blue. This chakra is our will center. The healthfulness of the fifth chakra is in relation to how honestly one expresses himself/herself. Lying violates the body and spirit . We speak our choices with our voices (throats). All choices we make in our lives have consequences on an energetic level. Even choosing not to make a choice such as in repressing our anger (not speaking out) may manifest into laryngitis. We have all experienced that "lump in our throats" when we are at a crossroad of not knowing how to speak the right words in any given situation, perhaps even stuffing our own emotions.
