I got a really nasty flu I think in March despite having been vaccinated earlier. The doctor said there was an unanticipated strain going around. Is there any chance it was H1N1?
1. There are different strains going around all the time
H1N1 was just getting started in Mexico in March. There's a remote chance you had it but the antibody test to confirm it is expensive and I doubt anyone wants to spend the money.
usually has the regular flu vaccine available in October...this year it was earlier and by the second week in October it was all gone. There is none available in my area.
