2. OBAMA screwed it up? You mean it would have sailed through with no opposition?

The Republicans had nothing to do with it? The pharmaceuticals? The insurance companies? The Blue Dog Dems? It's only because Obama has tried to make it happen?

3. He started the negotiating

at the compromise. Single payer should have been fully explained and pushed even if it would have never made it at the end. A strong 'public option' was the compromise, what the end plan should have been after all was said and done.
If it was a strong option it had the chance of leading to something better through choice and competition.
This whole thing is a farce, the naysayers should be shamed into health care for all, this is embarrassing for our country to even be arguing over this in 2009!
