Listen you lying piece of shit! In Canada, you DON"T have to wait for 3 months to see a doctor, you can go to any clinic, swipe your medical card, and be in and out in 30 minutes to an hour. There are clinics all over the place! and you can have 5 doctors if you want! I have personally, when I lived there, had 3 or 4 doctors that I saw regularly. I don't know where you get these so-called Canadians who come up with these stories, but it is a bald face lie! Also, yes, people come to the US and other countries to get operations and whatever because it is COVERED under Universal Health Care. If you have a hip replacement or non-essential non- life threatening surgery, it takes about the same amount of waiting time as down here, maybe a bit more. You can choose to come to the US if you find a place to get it done faster, but it will cost you a supplemental premium, maybe another hundred bucks for travelers insurance, and it IS COVERED under the Canadian system. Is that available in US private insurance? I doubt it. I hear so many lies about the various systems around the world that are Universal, yet they are not clamoring to get rid of it and replace it with something MORE expensive and with LESS coverage, and may or may not cover you, depending on the mood of the insurance adjuster and whether or not they got laid the night before! Damn.. I had to PAY to have my charts sent to another doctor here, when he jumped ship on my provider, and so, you see, you CAN"T chose your own doctor here, unless you want to abandon your plan, which you are stuck with because it is the one your employer uses, or else you have to purchase another plan just to stay with the same Quack! When I went to find a doctor, I was given a list of those that take our plan, and out of those 15 or 20 doctors, only ONE would take me, and he was from the middle east! So, Fixed news claims that they are truthful and unbiased, STOP LYING! BTW, Health care is a Universal right, and if you interpret the Constitution as it applies to health care, wouldn't that be covered under "LIFE, Liberty and the Pursuit of happiness"? I mean, if we have the right to Life, and it is not provided because Health care is not universal, then private health care is unconstitutional.
