It would be ironic if he were sick and had to be treated by someone he had arrested,
or by a relative of one of the now "Baucus 13".

3. This is incredible!
I heard chants of "Lock Up Baucus!" and "Baucus Baucus You Can't Hide - We Can See Your Greedy Side!"

I had to choke back a tear. Seriously. Wasn't health care one of the top three agenda items voted up on Obama's website?
When the people mobilize, my hope is stirred up.

Groups involved included CNA, Physicians for a National Health Program, Progressive Democrats of America, Gray Panthers, Public Citizen, and Code Pink.

4. Glad to hear there's more progressive groups involved.
It seems like a lot of progressive groups have bought into the idea of a mixed public-private system that preserves the for-profit insurance scam. Seems like they decided it's the politically expedient thing to do. Didn't anyone mention to them that without a true left-plank position they're gonna get snookered into moderating still further to get to the "middle ground" and end up with such a watered-down plan that it will accomplish nothing?

5. Doesn't a Democratic Republic
govern from bottom up? Theoretically? We've got the numbers. I hope this is an undertow to flip the power structure to align with our Constitution. I watched Rohm answer an interview question to the effect that citizenship is not free or guaranteed. He was speaking of the citizens army, or whatever it is they have in mind. We don't hear much about that. It sounded like some Americans aren't entitled to the Constitution. Surely I misheard that. However, this could work out just as Rohm suggested. Citizens begin to pay the price for their Constitutional birthrights.

I'm not the only one.
