1. I have been to multiple meetings

sponsored by ASM (American Society for Microbiology) and am astounded how many people (well, women since that's the only bathroom I'm in) do the '5 seconds of just water' hand wash in the bathroom. Quite disturbing. I wonder if it's the same for men.
