I sent some liquid lemon flavored fish oil (mercury free pcb free)
to my mother. She took it to her M.D. He said, this is a fine product, no problem taking it even though you are on med xyz. He also said NOT MORE THAN ONE SERVING OF TUNA PER WEEK. MERCURY WAS HIS CONCERN. That is all.

1. If groceries are going to be banned from informing people
about mercury - it would be good to have doctors/nurses take that role.

2. My mom said her doc had a patient who went on a get this,
tuna diet. They did his bloodwork and he was off the charts on mercury... I was ranting about this 10 years ago, it takes quite awhile for the truth to enter the mainstream.

3. It's not the kind of thing
they could morally do on people - test what kind of consequences there are for eating a lot of tuna.

But you do hear about these things every now and then - like a teen-aged boy who ate a can of tuna a day and then stopped being able to think/remember,etc. - until he got off the tuna ( I don't remember if he had to have chelation or not).

And then there is that new PR firm that apparently has a calculator that says a 160 lb. pregnant woman could eat 3.2 lbs. of tuna a week - which would be about a can a day. It's criminal.
