1. I wish more people
would pay attention to posts like this. We cannot wait for our corrupt government to ban these chemicals - we need to start making informed choices for ourselves. That means looking into the environmental health literature. We cannot wait for the eons it takes to make its way into the mainstream medical literature that treating physicians read. Just not going to happen if the advertisers have their way.

2. You can't make informed choices if we don't FORCE the government to fund honest research...

4. There is a mountain of
environmental health research that is valuable for making those informed choices. That research is effectively quarantined and does not make it into the mainstream medical literature to be put to practical use.
If you keep up with Environmental Health News, Environmental Health Perspectives (publication of the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences, NIH), Science Daily News you will see studies - many of them from Europe, that would have an impact on our everyday decisions.

No - the information that is gathered and known will not affect policy because of corruption, politics etc. Medical journals decline to publish such studies with excuses like - lack of interest, etc.

John Kerry is introducing a bill that would but the National Institute of Environmental Sciences in charge of banning harmful chemicals rather than the EPA. This means real scientists and not lobbyists would be in charge.

Please read those sources for your own protection. The government is not going to protect us.

5. The last few days I've seen some very obese little kids. I don't
think it's how much stuff these kids are eating that's causing the problem, it's what's in the stuff they're eating.
