October is Gay History Month

I'm going to post this as a reminder to ourselves. To remember our history. The work of such pioneers as Phyllis Lyon and the late Del Martin and the Daughters of Bilitis. Franklin Kameny. Harry Hay and the Mattachine Society. Barbara Gittings. And the many others who came before us, who fought for our rights generations before us. We have a long way to go to achieve full equality. But let's remember the gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgendered folks who paved the way to get us to where we are now.
