I saw her one woman show (the revamped version) a few years ago, and was astounded at her talent. Then, in the "Prairie Home Companion" movie, she did a really aces performance. I like to listen to her singing (I bought the soundtrack) with Meryl Streep, and was astounded that anyone could sing so sardonically. I've listened 20 times and I still laugh.

I was also so touched by the five Laugh-In people (including her) who were on the Emmys. What a moment. And she looks better than any of them. That woman does not age.

Give her my best!

12. I LOVE Lily!

I recently rewatched Search for Signs of Intelligent Life on DVD (also saw it live) and was amazed at how brilliant it was. Genius! Her and Jane.

13. Tomlin is one of the best performers live

I've seen her perform several times, and she is as good as it gets, and far better than it usually is. And let's not forget Jane Wagner's writing, she is also a genius. Worth any price, even this week.
