Am I just not understanding this?
While checking out the threads yesterday afternoon I found one that talks about Palin's and how evangelicals were just flocking around her. In the sub-thread, though, someone was talking about Grover Norquist and what a vile person he is. And it segued into:

Am I just not understanding the "humor" here? I mean if you want to tell me that I'm overreacting I will apologize for it.

1. Not sure what the original comment was getting at
ie what it had to do with sex. But the comment does not strike me as homophobic (depending on discovering what the OP was about). I have only ever heard it as a straight sexual reference. Its intent does tend towards secretive affairs. But I don't think it has any direct homosexual overtones. Of course its all in how you use innuendo.

Im not sure what you're talking about. I read the thread. I didn't find the segue.

3. The "Guess he likes to play..."
Hide the Kielbasa.

Az said he's only ever heard it as a straight reference. I've only heard it in gay terms. So it's possible, and likely, I misunderstood and overreacted.

Either way the reference really didn't make any sense to me.

4. I promise you it's used as a straight reference too.
Penis = Kielbasa. Hiding it in an orifice.

7. Why do you think I'm down to once a week here now?
Finding places elsewhere where that crap doesn't fly.

8. Kielbasa is a Polish pork sausage.
Perhaps the poster who posted that is of Polish ethnicity, and uses Polish words occasionally? At any rate, I don't interpret that comment as homophobic per se.
