Gays, Others Lead To Earth's Doom!

Director Rick Stout brings the right-wing movement into uncharted territory with his new flick, Demographic Winter, which firmly points a finger at gays, feminists and lefties for the declining population rates. Because, you know, we threaten marriage and there can be no babies without marriage.

Says one interview subject, "Now we have forty years of social science that makes it absolutely clear that the deterioration of marriage and the encouragement of sexuality outside of marriage is just not good for society." The scariest part to these people: the decline of developed nations. That means African nations could be on top. Nooooo!

Though this trailer doesn't spell out any clear answers, the screen does flash this ominous query: "What if the solutions were clear to academia, but weren't politically correct?" That sounds like the makings of a social cleansing project. And it frightens us.

If we keep doubling every century then in a couple thousand years or so the total human population will weigh more than the Earth! Maybe China had the right idea with its one-child policy.

5. Did they have any comment about Catholic clergy?

They do not marry and (in theory, at least) do not procreate. How is that not a contribution to the "problem" of declining population rates? And if all they care about is numbers, have them import children from India, Bangladesh and parts of Africa where population rates are exploding into an uncontrolled mess leading to rampant poverty, starvation, disease and death?

Oh, that's right: they don't give a rat's tail about children; they only care about white American children.

6. Need help with phone calls to voters...

This really isn't on this topic (I'm too new to start a new one), but I was so shocked tonight when I made phone calls at the Obama Portland HQ that I didn't have a good response. I spoke to a woman in her 70's that is voting for McCain for the reason of abortion and gays - a religious fool. She said she 'loves the gays, but hates their sins' and something about Sodom and Gomorrah. I didn't want to discuss religion with her as I can't stand religious people because of their hypocrisy, but could you give me a better comeback than I had? Or is it totally a waste of time to try to make a point with these idiots? I want to keep helping Obama, but don't want to feel helpless in the face of their ignorance. Thanks!

because these facts are not fringe:

There is no involuntary test for gay or degree of gay.
There is no driver's license designation for same.
We don't live in a vacuum - there are many many more non-gay people than the total gay population of the U.S. who would stop that dead.

The only social cleansing project that would come out of that would be declaring anti-gay activity to be terroristic, so, please go right ahead. Make our day.
