Idaho GOP candidate proposes separate bathrooms in schools for gays and straights

Homosexual and heterosexual students should have separate bathrooms and showers in Idaho schools, a Wilder Republican running for the Idaho House said Friday.

Walt Bayes, who gained notoriety two years ago by going on an anti-abortion hunger strike that lasted 59 days, said he wasn’t sure how the issue could be handled other than providing different facilities for gay and straight students in schools.

The topic came up after Bayes mentioned it in his campaign literature, where he wrote, “It is absolutely wrong to force any student to share the same bathrooms and showers with homosexual teachers or students.”

12. I dealt with one of these before

He was convinced that gays couldn't control themselves around naked guys so this is what I said. He had taken PE, with showers, for four years so we settled on 50 guys who had likely seen him naked. We used the standard 10% gay. So the odds of all the people who showered with him being straight were .9^50 which is 0.00515 or about a 1 in 200 chance. So I told him he was either pretty uniquely undesirable or at least some gays were able to control themselves.

What kind of idiotic twit thinks about shit like this? And why doesn't he carry his stupid theory a bit further? If gays have separate showers and bathrooms, wouldn't it actually be worse? Every Gay Man would need to be assigned a Lesbian "Buddy".

Each time one of them needed to use the toilet, or take a shower, they would be required to take their "Buddy" with them.

Then you equip each gay bathroom with two toilets, one urinal, and two showers, and limit the occupancy to two people.

In order to make this work, each pair of "Buddies" would be supplied, at government expense, with one of those two-way family radio systems.
