Anyone need to fill up your "IGNORE" list (now with the Thread address) ?

This thread in GD-P is like "CALLING ALL SEXISTS!"

I must have added 20 posters to my list on that one thread alone; mostly post counts less than 500, and the majority less than 100.

I have often wanted to do this, put an entire thread on ignore...it does make it difficult though to share the offensive thread with others, as we can plainly see here. :rofl:

5. 16 people on my list, most added in the past couple of months, and i don't often read GD-P!

I don't fully understand what's going on. Many offensive posts are coming from new people, and I expect they'll vanish after the primaries. But I'm also seeing an increase in rude behavior from long-time DU'ers.

Something in the water? Sunspots?

In fairness, I've met many new DU'ers who are smart and fun to talk to, and I hope they hang around....

my ignore list for a while. I hate to use it, I am too darned curious when I see something flaming I have to know what is being said. I can't go look for the thread you are talking about. My outrage overload has been going on for so long now and is so hot now that I am afraid one more thing and I will stroke out.

People who do not understand the "isms" are not liberals and lack the kind of compassion and empathy to ever be liberal no matter what they say.

Please forgive me for pokin a bit of fun at you earlier.. my inner geek found resistance to be futile.

I got about half way through the thread...there are indeed some um...well... 'misguided'(?) folks there. I do have an ignore list of my own, consisting of perhaps three or four of my fellow DUers. I should update it because they may be TSd by now. (They were all blatant trolls!)

So far, during this election cycle, I have gotten madder than hell at a few of my fellow DUers because of their methods of getting a point across but I have yet to place any of them on ignore. Maybe I have a thicker skin. (It helps sometimes.)
