Suze Orman Reveals She is the '55-year-old Virgin'

NEW YORK In an interview for The New York Times Magazine this coming Sunday, financial guru and TV host Suze Orman gets on Deborah Solomon's case for not looking out for her own money, partly because "you are a woman." This inspires Solomon to ask Orman if she is married.

Orman says she "has a relationship with life," so Solomon presses her, and Suze then reveals that her "life partner" is Kathy Travis and, "We're going on seven years. I have never been with a man in my whole life. I'm still a 55-year-old virgin."

Orman says they'd like to get married, and both "have millions of dollars in our name. It's killing me that upon my death, K.T. is going to lose 50 percent of everything I have to estate taxes. Or vice versa."

Pressed again, she says that estimates that she is worth $25 million are "pretty close."

She says she has about a million dollars in the stock exchange, because if she loses it all "I don't personally care."

I've often wondered about her because she sets off my gaydar. I had no idea that she is 55 years old. She looks a good bit younger, IMO.

8. Work On Right Wing Shows

I am not against Suze Orman, but hasn't she done work on a number of right wing shows. I think she is featured in some right wing book magazines. I am almost certain that she has been on many right wing shows. Is she a Republican? I have for a while thought she was a Republicans because of her appearances on right wing shows and in right wing book magazines. So I guess a large amount of right wing stores will no longer carry her books.

Are any of her books good? Did she gain all her money through writing brooks, investments, or something else? What is her non author work title; what does she do other than write books? Yes I have heard about her, but I never tried to find out anything about her.

She's a very successful financial advisor. She appeals to people across the political spectrum, and across the wealth spectrum as well.

Not everything needs to be partisan.

The but means I saw her on right wing shows. I am not taking about the run of the mill right wing shows. I am talking about the right wing hate gays shows. I have no problem with a financial advisor appealing to right wingers. I was just trying to find out if what I thought was true. It is possible that I thought I saw her on those shows and actually did not. I was just trying to find out if my memory was correct. I guess I would think it would be odd for a person to be gay and then go on anti-gay shows so I wanted to know if I had actually seen her on those shows. I never stopped to watch her on the shows, but I remembers seeing her on a number of shows. So now I want to make sure whether or not I saw her on the shows I thought she made guest appearances. That was it. The part before but was to let people know that I did not have a problem with her if she had gone on the shows I just wanted to know why.

I'm happy to hear she took a stand and said something for once. I knew when I read the dedication in her books, and read some other things. Good for her. People will take this to heart. I sure hope that Dave Ramsey does.
