We need to transform this place into more of a lounge setting, IMO

What do you you all think?

Maybe help is just one call away? :

I say we ditch the dreadful eighties torchiere.

No slings, saddles or mounted toy collections (where everyone can see them)! And gurrrrrl orange shag is never coming back.

11. Who knew GLBT people were so staid?!

Bette telling a Sophie Tucker joke, circa 1982...

I will never forget it you know, I had gone to the grocery store for some odds and ends. I looked around for a suitable looking bag boy to help me into the parking lot with my purchases.

On the way into the parking lot I am ashamed to tell you all that I was over come with an attack of passion....and bad taste. I grabbed the bag boy. I said "Young man, I have an itchy booty."

He said "Sorry lady, I don't know one Japanese car from another."

More tasteless jokes here...

16. This place could use some classical music....
hey that gives me a idea.

*pulls out Lute*

*starts singing*

*Pastime with good company
I love and shall until I die.
Grutch who lust but none deny
So God be pleased thus live will I.
For my pastense hunt sing and dance
My heart is set,
All goodly sport, for my comfort
Who shall me let.

Youth must have some daliance
Of good or ill some pastance
Company me thinks then best
All thoughts and fancys to digest.
For idleness is chief mistress
To vices all
And who can say,but mirth and play
Is best of all.

Company with honesty
is virtue,vices to flee.
Company is good and ill,
But every man hath his free will.
The best ensue. The worst eschew.
My mind shall be:
virtue to use, vice to refuse.
Thus shall I use me.*

*bows and walks away.*

The Middle Ages is having a lot of interest like the movies Shakespeare in love,Elizabeth,Kingdom of Heaven, and specials on tv like there is gonna be a special on the Knights Templar on August 4 at 8A.M. PST on the History Channel And Renaissance Faires(Fairs) all over the nation.

As i'm typing this i'm looking at my shield over the fireplace and my English suit of Armour. (:

That song is easily translated if you have the New Verse Translation of Beowulf.

23. Well so far,
we have a lovely beach Cabana inhabited by a 16 century bear, a bunch of overprocessed queens with w-a-y too much product on, some fabulous people such as ourselves, an 80's torchiere with pickled oak furniture and a corduroy easy chair but a fabulous deck and view, some chicken who partied too hard and lost his shirt, and of course the ever fabulous winged demon sui generis barbecuing conservatives out on the patio, and xchrom keeping us up to our eyeballs in gin fizzes and mojitos.

What's playin'? We need some tracks. And where are all the lesbians!? Oh, someone just called. There are forty of them on a queen sized float out in the harbor. They want to know if one of us can bring them some beer, another float, and some fresh lesbians.

46. Jama picks up her hammer, a saw, and some nails.
Let's fix this place up a bit, shall we? I'll build a nice picnic table and a kick ass deck (with a stage) for us to have parties with bands and/or DJ's. We absolutely need a pool too. We'll probably need some nice lounge chairs too. I'll build the frame, but someone else will have to do the upholstering. I don't do fabric work, :P.

Let's do this and have a huge pah-tay. Btw, who'll volunteer to bartend for us?
