Gay Man Sues Over Police Sting

(Nashville, Tennessee) A Nashville gay man is suing the city and a number of police officers after he was arrested in what what he claims was a sting targeting gay men in a popular internet chat room.

The man is identified in court papers only as John Doe. The federal lawsuit alleges that he agreed to meet a man in person with whom he had been chatting with on the Web site Gay.com.

But when he arrived at the agree upon location he was met by Nashville police.

Doe's attorney John Herbison tells television station WTVF that his client was shot three times by a taser, kicked and gouged in the eye.

with 3 automatic weapons, or a guy on his way to a date with Amsterdam Amyl whatever that is? Sounds like the Nashville PD is a bit wimpy as far as the whole "Fear Factor" thing goes.

6. Reminds me of the cops

in the suburb in which I used to live. It's pretty much a given that they're corrupt as hell, considering the two bars located across the street from the city courthouse and kitty-corner from the cop shop are two of the biggest drug dens in town.

Chickenshit or corrupt. Or both. That's my guess.

Maybe only then will the cops start getting the message that they have no fuckin' business trolling gay.com unless they believe someone who is harming gay people is lurking there.

edit: And by the way, it seems to me My Space is more of a threat to children. Maybe those cops should look into that?

It is true that its use is mostly confined to the gay male population. Made me sick, personally...
