3. That would imply that there's actually something to that "ex-gay" bullshit
Which, of course, there isn't.

Even if I theoretically could...which I can't...I'd never leave homosexuality. Mever. I like being gay.

Besides...that would put a cramp in my relationship with my boyfriend...

4. Not giving up Homosexuality.
I love being gay. I wouldn't be the person I am today without being gay. (I shudder to think what type of person I would have become...)

Although, I am giving the Democrats one last chance. Either they are with us or they are against us - they can't have it both ways. If they are trying to court the radical right (as it seems they are trying desperately to do) then they are excluding me. After all, if they are actively pursuing people who are anti-gay they aren't even going to give Democrats a second glace as long as gays are still on their "friends" list. So it means they have to choose.

So, in the end, why would I donate money, time, energy and more importantly my vote to a party who doesn't even support me? It's like forcing a black person to vote between segregation (Democrats) and slavery (Republicans), you are getting fucked no matter who you choose and while the former may be worse the latter ain't all that much better either.

I mean, I may be old fashioned, but I believe politicians ought to strive to EARN our votes. I don't believe anyone is deserving of it. To say otherwise is to not take democracy seriously. If this country could do a single thing to better itself it would be to eliminate the two party system.

5. I also love being gay!
I will never give that up. I don't even think I'd choose to be bisexual, given the chance.

8. someone stole mine
I left it right next to the coffee machine in the breakroom and the **POOF** it was gone just like that.

I did see some guy skipping through the elevator lobby singing "we're off to see the wizard", but I think he must have found someone else's, because I have NEVER worn my hair in braids. But I look smashing in gingham.

Oh wait I found it, nevermind.

14. Well.....
If giving up being gay was possible, I still wouldn't do it! Although I just recently "came out" (about 2 months I have been out to some family and friends); and with all of the hate and discrimination that abounds in today's society, I am still proud to be gay!

There's just no denying who I am! :)

I am 20 years old.
I am an Eagle Scout.
I graduated 13th in my high school class.
I earned an Associate's Degree on a full-ride community college scholarship.
I am currently working on my Bachelor's degree.
I am gay.
I am who I am.
