Write To The Ocean County Freeholders

My mom brought this subject up with me, when she came home from work, apparently not even aware that I was already aware of this. She knows I am interested in issues like this, because I am a part of the GLBT community.

My mom is a born-again Christian, and SHE was outraged by this B.S. SHE thinks the benefit ought to go to the same-sex partner...and she had some choice words for the freeholder who referred to Hester as "an immoral person."

she was hopping mad and wanting to write a letter.

Does anyone here have any idea where you would address a letter to the Ocean County Freeholders?

Not sure if an LTTE would do or not, since we are not New Jersey residents. But my mom wants to write a letter of support for Hester, and would like to know if anyone has any ideas on how we could go about this.

Did I mention my mom is a born-again Christian??!!

1. It is not clear what you are talking about.

You need to give some background. However, you can find out how to write to these people by calling the Ocean County Courthouse and getting hold of someone in general information. Ocean County (New Jersey - If that is the Ocean County you are talking about) is hard core republican.

2. In NJ, "freeholders" are the county commissioners

goes way back to the bad old days of property qualifications to hold office.

Apologies I was not clear on what this was about. It was not intended to be it's own thread...I tried to post it as a reply to a different thread, and messed up somehow.

When I realized My mistake, I cross-posted to the thread I wanted, and left a note to Admins, requesting them to merge the topics.
