Breaking news: FORD agreed to pull all support for gay events

What I can say is that this means Ford essentially lied to us about the context of their meeting with the American Family Association.

The ads won't be tailored to the gay community?? WTF? Why would ANYONE buy a damn car whose owners run ads in gay publications tailored to straights? This is as stupid as running ads in black publications directed at a white audience.

Yes, all Ford products need to be boycotted, including Volvo since they're so damned dumb and offensive as to agree to run ads directed at straights (which is what 'generic' really means) in gay publications.

I don't have the time to do this, but someone needs to launch a boycott Ford website of our own!

15. I knew that...

... soon after I bought my '99 Contour that it would be my first and last Ford. Ford has been very destructive to the environment with its cut-rate SUVs, and has supported legislations and Republicans that make it easier to keep producing those gas guzzlers instead of forcing Ford to innovate.

The AFA fiasco only further cements my decision not to buy Fords again.

In fact, I refuse to be even SEEN in my Contour. I'm driving a BMW today.
