Hollywood Winds Down 2005 with Gay-Themed Pics

(Finally ... I bit more positive news. Or at least news not about hate crimes, fundie hystronics and Repugnantcan homophobia.)

For a town that usually gets all somber and serious in the fall, Hollywood sure is "gay" this year -- as in, dealing with "gay" characters and "gay themes." Bob Mondello reports that there's at least one such movie for every week between now and Christmas.

good movies..I've already read about a few of them..they all look like the writing and the acting will be superb.

2. Sounds like a lot of good films to pick from

The last good gay-themed film I saw was Araki's "Mysterious Skin." Saw it during a film festival in July and just got the DVD the other night. Excellent acting, but a very mature subject (child sexual abuse). At times the film is pretty brutal to watch, but an excellent film, nonetheless.

it sounds like he's doing a redux on the Crying Game. As my girlfriend said, did he go to the Zathura school of filmmaking?
