Mass. Lawmakers Mull Gay Caucus
http://www.365gay.com/newscon05/11/110305massLeg.htm

Arguably the most liberal state in the nation gay legislators say they are behind other states, such as California, in establishing an LGBT caucus where members of both parties can work together on measures affecting the gay community.

Friday the small group of gay and lesbian lawmakers on Beacon Hill will get together informally to discuss the idea.

Rep. Carl M. Sciortino Jr. (D-Somerville) an openly gay lawmaker elected in 2004, said he was surprised when he arrived at the Statehouse to discover that there wasn't an LGBT caucus.
