Ohio School Scene Of Second Homophobic Bullying Incident

Westerville South High School in the Ohio town of that name is the site of a second homophobic attack on a student. Yesterday, a student at the school was called ‘fag’ and ‘faggot’ and then punched in the head several times and has had to undergo emergency medical testing in order to determine if he suffered a concussion. The student is not gay, from reports, but does have a lesbian sister. He has been harassed for the last four years with little or no response from the school system.

The student’s mother, identified as Stacey, stated that “Ever since the 5th grade we’ve been dealing with the bullying and harassment. The school is brushing off it’s responsibilities by just suspending the bully.”

This surfaces a week after a 15-year-old teenager in Chillicothe, Ohio was severely beaten in his high school class room for being gay. That attack was at Unioto High School.

...constantly demeaning gays, it should be expected that some will think it's OK to bully, beat and even murder these People.

8. I hate to say this, but

I would bet such an assult would be only 5 days at my school too (regardless of the anti gay aspect). Schools suspend far less now than they used to with the results you would expect.
